Is it possible that being “Too Friendly” with patients can get in the way?: Staff Training | Episode 170

Last night’s stop on the 5 cities in 5 days tour had the best turn out yet. We had over 15 staff members and 5+ business owners from the New Jersey and New York area. One question I was asked last night was “is there a point where I can be too friendly and personal with a patient?”. The front desk staff member was concerned that her ability to make a connection was impacting how they felt about her and the business she was a part of. Now there is not an issue with making a strong connection patients, but don’t let that distract you OR them on the reason why they are really visiting you, for treatment.

I hope you enjoy today’s episode, we are heading to Long Island currently for the last stop of this east coast book signing and staff training tour.
